| No wind? How about surfing? When the wind is not blowing, Puerto Rico offers world class surfing at hundreds of uncrowded breaks all around the island. Surfing is an incredible complementary watersport for windsurfing and kiteboarding and will ultimately improve your water skills in every sport. We provide surfing lessons and rentals here at Velauno on a year round basis. LESSONS: All lessons cost $50/ hour and include use of all boards and materials. These are private one on one lessons by appointment. Please schedule at least one day ahead of time to reserve your class. You can also call instructor Babby Quinones directly at 787-791-5525 and mention referral from Velauno when coordinating class. RENTALS: Surfboard rentals are provided at the Velauno shop. We offer a range of BIC Sport surfboards which are great for beginner to intermediate surfers. Soft racks are provided for your car if you do not have a rack to transport the board. Rentals available Monday through Friday 10am - 7pm and Saturday 11am - 7pm. If you are interested in purchasing a BIC surfboard, we offer the entire range of boards for sale at the shop.
